Cu Chi Tunnel

We booked a half day tour to Cu Chi Tunnels from GetyourGuide. Initially we faced a lot of hiccups as the guide whose number was provided was not picking up our calls. After raising a complaint over GetyourGuide our guide finally contacted us and we were able to board our bus. The trip went smooth after that. The itinerary was as usual, a quick rest stop at a local artistry shop and then the main Cu Chi Tunnel.<br>The journey took almost 1.5 hours from Ho Chi Mihn City. You get to spend a couple of hours in the Tunnels while the guide explains you how the Vietnamese army used these tunnels for guerilla war tactics. We also got time to pay and do target shooting using AK47. The most exciting part of the trip was however, the walk and crawl through some of the tunnels (might be challenging for claustrophobic people).<br>Overall, it was a nice trip but I would only recommend it to people having some genuine interest in history and won't mind spending half a day for visiting this place from Ho Chi Mihn City.

Was awesome learning about how the Viet Cong absolutely smoked the yanks after they drop 50T of agent orange on their land.
